Our ministries

At Trinity Presbyterian Church, we believe in actively living out our faith through various ministries. We offer a range of opportunities to serve, connect, and grow, both within our church family and in the wider community.

Community outreach

All PC(USA) churches are encouraged to become Matthew 25 congregations which means that they strive to build congregational vitality, work toward dismantling structural racism, and strive for eradicating systemic poverty.

As our way of participating in this program, our congregation has committed itself to make regular monetary contributions to the Robert Echols Family Success Center and to make regular donations of canned goods to the Etowah County Food Bank.

Spiritual growth

For over 60 years, Maranatha Camp and Conference Center served North Alabama and beyond as a safe gathering place for retreats, summer camps, and group events. Trinity Presbyterian Church has had a long history with Camp Maranatha. Not only have many of our members grown up going to the camp, but we frequently made monetary donations to the camp and have provided scholarships for young people who would like to go to the camp.

Youth and children

The Presbyterian Home for Children, a ministry of the Presbyterian Churches of Alabama, cares for boys and girls of all ages and their female caregivers who find themselves homeless because of poverty, abuse, or abandonment. The congregation of Trinity Presbyterian Church has had a strong desire to help these children any way that we can and have made a point of giving monetary donations over the years to the camp.
